ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS…

What are the criteria for enrolment?
Your child must:

  • Live in, or attend school in, Midlothian.
  • Be under 22 years of age.
  • Have a disability diagnosed or be recognised by a health professional, social worker or educational professional that your child has an additional need or un-diagnosed disability.
Do I have to attend with my child
All children attending the playgroup must attend with an appropriate adult.  Children and young people attending the out of school clubs and youth clubs need only attend with an appropriate adult if they require 1:1 care or supervision. (including continence care)
What disabilities and needs do Bright Sparks cover?
We are proud to say that all disabilities and additional needs are welcome at Bright Sparks.
What are the costs involved?
Bright Sparks asks all children to register at a cost of £10 per child per annum.  Each term time club playgroups session costs £2.00 and includes a snack.  Term time evening sessions cost £2.50 and includes snack.

Holiday club costs very depending on the activities.
